Lisa joined the faculty of Health Sciences and Human Services in 2016 as an instructor in the Health Care Assistant Program. Lisa worked as an HCA for four years while taking her nursing degree. With her seventeen years of nursing experience Lisa has worked in a variety of settings. The majority of her nursing career has been spent with seniors. She has worked as a staff nurse in several Long Term Care facilities and also as both a Director Of Care and Nurse Educator. Lisa graduated with her BSN from Nanaimo Malaspina University Collage (VIU) in 2003. Lisa has a passion for teaching, and educating HCAs.
