Students from Ewha Womans University, South Korea, Social Welfare Studies, visit the Bachelor of Social Work Program at VIU. They met with Rim Shin from Central Vancouver Island Multicultural Society, Pat Konkin, Interim Associate Dean, and Andrea Smilski, Interim Dean, both from VIU Health Sciences and Human Services. Discussions centered on social work in Canada, including support of immigrants, Canada’s aging population and the working environment for Social Workers in Canada.
