Kathryn began her career in Child and Youth care during her undergraduate degree where she worked as a behavioural interventionist with children with diverse abilities. Following her graduation from UBC with a bachelors in Psychology, Kathryn pursued a master’s degree in Clinical Counselling at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Kathryn began working as a Child and Youth Mental Health Clinician for several years in the Lower Mainland. In 2016 she moved to Nanaimo and began working as a Clinical Supervisor for the Indigenous Child and Youth Mental Health team. Kathryn also has a community private practice where she specializes in providing treatment to complex presentations such as severe Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Tourette’s Syndrome.
