Bettina has extensive experience in early childhood education in diverse contexts for almost two decades now. She received training on early childhood education from De La Salle University (Manila, the Philippines) and educational leadership from Simon Fraser University (Vancouver, Canada). She began as a government-licensed elementary teacher in Manila, Philippines before moving to Vancouver, Canada as infant-toddler educator. Her research interest is in leadership in early childhood education. Her vision is for contemporary global societies to have more multicultural early childhood education.
