Beyond the classroom, I have over two decades of experience managing and organizing projects in alternative education, with a strong track record in program development, stakeholder engagement, and capacity building, particularly through online learning.

I hold a BA in Psychology from Carlton University, a Diploma in Intercultural Education and a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction both from the University of Victoria. I am currently completing my PhD (summer 2025) in Educational Studies also at the University of Victoria. My research focuses on the experience of new teachers through narrative inquiry.

My hobbies include pottery, yoga, hiking, travel and enjoying time with my family.
