Centre for Community Outreach and Care 2015-16 Project
Over 20 years ago it was recognized that many children/youth due to financial strain were not able to participate in traditional sporting activities in the Harewood community. Floor hockey was offered for these kids at a very low cost. The new rendition of this program will be a free drop in program and no longer a registered program. Community partners for this project are the school district.
We are very excited about this work within our community in collaboration with those providing needed services to vulnerable children, youth and their families.
